This was an assignment that called for two 9x12 pieces that represented a fairy tale from a list we were given. I chose to interpret Little Red Riding Hood as two tarot cards, the fool and the world. The Fool represents Red's naivety and innocence at the beginning of the story; she is blissfully ignorant of the dangers of the world. The World represents her new found knowledge and the victory she has against the wolf. I depicted her older than the first card and wearing a wolf pelt to show this and her growth that she has done since the beginning of the story.
