[comic] Class Anthology - Special Delivery

This piece was an assignment I was given in my Intro to Seq. Art class at SCAD. Our assignment was to make a one page comic based on a series of four categories the class voted on. Our categories focused on a country, a time period, a theme, and a food! For this comic, the chosen options were Japan, 1960s, mythology and soup! Somehow, we had to incorporate these into our comic.

My comic is about a kitsune retrieving a special package from a buddah for his master, the goddess Benzaiten; this package ended up being a thermos of soup! I gathered a number of reference photos from Japan, focusing on different shrines and the environment!
