[concept] egyptian high/fallen priestess

In the concept art club at SCAD, we were given different prompts based on tales, epics, and fables using vague descriptors to make rather well-known stories into ones that were hard to figure out the origins of! For this one, we were challenged to do concept work for the story of an exiled king and a high priestess that fell from grace. This ended up being the tale of Medusa.

I decided to do concept work for the high priestess turned fallen priestess character in the story, aka Medusa. My take was an Egyptian priestess before the fall in a dark fantasy genre setting. I got inspiration from looking at garments and pharaohs from Ancient Egypt as well as the high priestess tarot card.
